Sorry for the late results! LONG DAY YESTERDAY AND WORK TODAY.

We had 19 teams yesterday and almost everyone weighed a limit. The bigger fish are just tough to locate and catch right now. I would like to first thank everyone who participated, from the feed back everyone had a great time. Second I would like to thank Dean and his staff at Winganon Bait for hosting the check-in and weigh-in, they did a great job as always. I also want to thank our sponsors: Ken Roberson (Power Crappie LLC), The Holsons (Redneck Rubber), Tim Cumbie (Timmy Tom Jigs), and Frank Langston (G-Daddy Baits). Below are the results and I will also post how we caught our fish and encourage everyone else to do the same.

Brian and I caught our fish in 7-10 fow on isolated laydowns, stumps and a sunken boat. Brian caught our biggest fish off of the sunken boat in 8 fow. We caught 3/4 of our fish drop-shotting minnows and the rest on the new color (?) Bobby Garland baby shad. We tried brush piles from 10-14 fow and caught only very small fish on those. Hope this helps!

Steve and I fished timber north of Wiganon. Early, had many pecks but only one thump that produced a fish. Couldn't get a second bite. So we dropped a minnow on a 1/4 oz white Redneck Rubber jig head and started catching on the stumps we had only got pecked prior. Also caught fish on a clear Beaver Bottom tipped with a minnow on the same 1/4 oz white jig head. Some hit as soon as it reached 11' deep in 13' of water. Most wanted it dead still for a minute or two. Key for us was a super slow presentation and hitting lots of trees.
