    Need to buy a new trolling motor. Anyone have any experience with the Minn Kota Edge motors?

    Not with the "Edge" but with Minn Kota I've been pleased with their product.

    If you are looking for a reasonable priced motor it will get the job done. The maxima has a lot sturdier mount if fishing stumpy areas you may want to look at them
