Thread: Fiberglass Stain Remover

Decided it was time to was the Eufaula gunk off my boat this evening. It was looking pretty rough with a very heavy waterline. During just normal washing I got most of the waterline off but it had already stained the fiberglass. I remembered I had bought some stuff last August from Nichols Marine that was supposed to work wonders for stains in fiberglass. So I put it to the test and have to say I am impressed. Just added a little to a rag and wiped it on. Within 30 seconds it was removing the stains. Then you just wipe or wash it off. No hard scrubbing or buffing. A little goes a long ways except for when you spill it like I did. Grrrrrr. I will say dont get it in fresh cuts. It doesnt feel good. Now my boat may not be bad compared to some but it was looking rough to me. Here is a little before/after pic of a spot on my boat this evening and this stain is after washing with marine boat wash. I will be using again thats for sure.
