Prayers for Charlie and family. That drive to catch them crappie will be the best tool possible for his re-hab!

2:00 pm. Just took Charlie back for surgery. He has a compression fracture on the hip joint. This will require a short 30 minute surgery where a screw is placed in the ball (joint) to hold it together for healing and a plate which will be held with screws to the femur. It's his right hip and he will be required to stay 3 days in the hospital, 3 days in rehab, and 6 week recovery with no weight placed on his right leg. Please continue to keep him, his family, and me in your prayers.

I don't personally know you or Charlie but God will always heal our wounds. He is truly the God of Grace, Compassion and Mercy. Tell him to take it easy and he'll be back rippin' those lips soon. Saying a prayer that God will guide the Dr's hands and comfort Charlie throughout this process.

Sounds like he is just down for a short count.
Hoping his recovery is quick and full.
