Outta Towner looking for some Grand Lake advice
Howdy all,
Coming up here in the spring I want to get my son on some of those famous Okie Slabs I keep reading about. We're looking at coming down in Late March/Early April (hopefully the spawn will be on) to the Honey Creek area, east of the 59 Hwy bridge. We'd probably rent a boat for 1 or 2 days and then fish the shore the other day... probably staying in that general area. Pretty good crappie fishing around that area? Is my time frame about right? I just have to wait for his baseball schedule to come out so that I can make sure I've got a good long weekend to get after them.
