    Default Thermocline ???

Thermocline question, I was wondering since a lot of our lakes have been extremely high water and now they are being drained back down with that kind of current going through them can the lake still produce a thermocline layer? I would think that the current would prevent this from happening.

8' to 9' in Gaines Right Now. Very visible on your locator even with the current. Surface Temks are 89 degrees......Ranger

Thermocline is a function of water temp for sure but, a stong enough current will likely clear it up. It is, after all, a lack of oxygen in the water.
We saw it on Texoma last week at about 15' as I recall.

Thermocline was around 15-16 ft on the upper end of Broken Bow this past week in most places.
