Guy's I watch the thermocline come and go every year on Wister and the lake water level has been higher longer this year then I've ever seen it and the thermocline has been worse after the water has gone back to normal so I guess the lake water level staying up as long as it has did make a difference this year and made for poor fishing when it usually is great this time of year and the fish I was fortunate to catch were all suspended above the thermocline which made spider rigging and pulling jigs and crank baits the ticket to catching big fish and numbers of fish. As always that's just my experience and opinion. Thanks. WSD
