Check out the various city lakes like Bixoma, Claremore, Chandler, ect. They usually are constructed on watersheds that dont "mud up" and are not made for flood control so the high water levels are not extreme like the main lakes in our area.

Not a lot of options so I took my grandsons to Skiatook to chase hybrids yesterday. It was a good decision tho I didn't get much chance to fish! I cleaned fish for an hour once the rodeo was over and I never heard two boys say thank you that many times in my life. As always I wish I had taken the time to take more pictures.
