Crappie Wall Hanger II
Took another old timer out yesterday. He is not getting around well now. He used to haul his grandson and I around in school. He would do anything for us kids. Well, the table has turned! I called him up, and said tomorrow is your day! He fixed us breakfast burritos and great memories! He was raised where the lake is today. It meant more to me, just to set and listen to his stories. He remembers the location of EVERYTHING under water north of Wiganon. We limited out by 2:30, so i took him for a drive. He would tell me about houses, oil patches, tank batteries, bridges, and who lived there. I would drive over it with my electronics, and it would paint such a pretty picture. It was like showing George Washington a jet airplane! he just could not get over the technology!! We caught so many fish in a row, he was out of breath, and had to set down to reel them in! It was great!! Smiles make my motor run!

What about Crappie?

I fully understand r7hunter. Almost every one of Ledges posts involve giving some one a fishing trip that most will never get to experience. He's also a very good crappie fisherman to boot. Since it's not that many, I'm going to let the catfish pictures slide as well as other species that our members happen to have a good day of fishing catching.
I give you permission not to view any catfish pictures or any other pictures of fish other than Crappie. Crappie.com is a family site and if our family happens to chase other species, I think the majority of us will roll with it.

Hey Reaper, Thanks. I didn't read anything about the Catfish post. I saw new "Hot" Crappie posts, got excited and then found the Cat stuff. No hard feelings and I apologize if I came across as rude. I'm eager for fillets. Good luck to everyone fishing for everything.

Thanks Craig, I agree with you, people can pass on if it's something they don't care about, and since there aren't that many post of Crappie to be posted, good to read about and see the pictures of someone doing all the good T C. does for us OLDER folks, he's taken me many times and it's always a Great time. He will wear your arms out bringing them in.

We had buckets of fillets on my trip with LEDGE!!! Keep up the good work, Sometimes you go through life making the right friends and sometimes you dont!!!Crappie or Cats hes an excellent fisherman, and would give you the shirt off his back... Im with Reaper on this as to most people on here love seeing any fishing Pics, I view it as an opportunity to learn something, Just a little secret though I think he goes by Cat Whisperer now!!!! LOL POLES BENT!!!!!!

Isn't this the thread topic? Are any lakes hot right now???? No where do I see anything about "Hot" crappie post. Plus the starter never stated anything about crappie either.
Ledge you are a great gentleman for doing what you do. although I have never met you it will be a great honor the day I do.
Keep em coming be it crappie, cats, perch, green carp, gar, ect.. Who cares isn't about just getting out and enjoying nature and what it provides for us to enjoy.

I have only had the pleasure of Ledges acquaintance for a short 6 months. All I can say is that I can only wish some day to be able to put smiles on faces like he can. I am sure you did not have bad intentions and I am sure that if and when you get the pleasure of his acquaintance he will make you smile to! Don't take much DOUBLE MEAT DOUBLE CHEESE to make me smile! All y'all down that way I would call the right friends!!!!!!!!!
