where are you from in Nebraska??
Looking for a little bit of info. Looking to come down March 12-15 time frame for the kids' spring break. Will be wife and two kids(8 and 13) to try some Crappie fishing. It appears Ponca City is the nearest town with hotels. My question is do any of these Hotels have the ability to plug the boat in overnight? And are any of them more "fisher" friendly then others? Would like to have a pool for the kids, which may not be an option.
Any insight on the Crappie methods would be appreciated as well.
Thanks guys.
Would be coming from Nebraska.

Call the Holiday Inn Express, I'm pretty sure they have a pool but not sure about being able to plug in. Bring your warm clothes as it can be cold. Maybe one of the local Kaw guys will be able to meet up with you to share some helpful info. The Holiday Inn Express has a dandy free breakfast!

From Central NE, around Kearney, and we are back to hard water again. We've had a severe cold stretch here after all our lakes opened up in early February.
Here is a link to some places in Ponca City. There are some listings on this link to hotels that are 30 miles away, so be sure and pick one that has an actual Ponca City address.
I don't know of any with an indoor heated pool, but there are some new ones on the north end of town I haven't been to.

Check out the link. Dennis lives in Ponca City. I have a hunting and fishing buddy in Valentine and we have a meeting at the Younes Center in Kearney in a couple of weeks.
