    Default Lowrance map SD card

So I'm looking for a map card for my Lowrance depth finder. At a hundred or more dollars a piece I would like to make sure I buy the best one out there and make sure they at least cover Eufaula and texoma. Would love to hear your input and experience using them and maybe some pics of them at work. Thanks

I use Navionics Platinum Hot maps and like it very much. Go to their website @ Web API | Navionics and select the WebApp at the bottom of the page and zoom in on your choice of lakes for the type of detail the chip will offer you.

You can go to Navionics Webapp to see what a Navionics card will give you for your lakes. If it isn't what you want, or you want to compare, list what part of Eufaula or Texoma you like and I could take a screenshot of the Insight card. Fwiw, Navionics sucks on Oologah and Insight is great. On other lakes, its just the opposite. There are no perfect map cards.

Absolutely, I'll never have a primary DF without one.

I use the Fishing Hot Spots Card. Actually I have 3 of them, one in each of my units. Wouldn't leave home without one. Even with insight installed on my HDS units which sometimes shows the channels on most lakes when you get up the creeks and the hairiest situations with lots of wood my HS Card allows me to run worry free in the channels....you can sometimes go to EBay or Bass Boat Central in their electronics forum and get one of these cards for 1/2 price. I bought all my cards this way........Ranger

Oh great info ranger. I actually got a insight v 14 with the Genesis software and update for a great price online. But would sure entertain getting the hot spots card as well . That gives me an excuse for buying another new finder for the front lol.

How about the ram mounts? I have one with the 2.25 ball but I think I could attach my 60 inch tv to it lol. Will the one inch ball mounts or at least the one and half work ok for smaller units? I have the elite 7

I believe you want more than an inch for an Elite 7. Don't remember if mine is 1 1/4 or 1 1/2, but it doesn't move.
