Thanks for letting us come out and hang out with you guys. I wish I hadn't started culling BEFORE we had our 7 :-) we could have had a better showing ....
We enjoyed it except for the start when 2 guys cut us off at the duck blind corner and shot their rooster tail into my boat. I was busy keeping control of my boat so I didn't see who it was but it scared the he11 out of my wife and I REALLY didn't appreciate that! Nuff said next time I'll trail you and we'll have us a little chat. That was ridiculously dangerous running at speed and within 10' of my boat!

CrappieBeater that was me that passed you at the duck blind and let me say I'm sorry to you and your wife. I didn't mean to scare anyone just a bad decision on my part. That was not the best place to pass someone in the creek with that sharp bend there, I really wasn't aware that I had it trimmed that high to shoot water on you either. So please forgive me? I hope my stupidity doesn't keep you from fishing anymore of our tournaments. I am really sorry! EB

EB, no hard feelings. It's all good.. I appreciate the apology though and have sent it to the wife, she now feels better!
I just wanted to make sure whoever it was new of the impact. My old boat doesn't handle as well as the new ones and it get's crazy to handle in that situation.

Me and my dad Gaston sure had fun fishin in the tournament. Thanks Brian, Mark, Doug, and Larry at Crappie Pro for setting it up and providing prizes. Seemed like everyone had a good time visiting with each other. Sure was nice weather and the time set up from 6 to 12 was just right. Everyone fishin one creek was different, you could kinda keep your eye on the competition lol. Dad and I had a pretty good day we brought home 35 keepers. Really any day I get to fish with my dad is a good day. I always learn something from him. Here's a picture of the 16 biggest fish we caught. Congratulations to the winning team Andrews and McGowen.
