    Default alone in shawnee

its memorial day and I am home alone wishing I was somewhere fishing--for many years I have been able to be at a relatives ALOT during the spring but especially on holidays and without a doubt on memorial weekend...I would fish and at some point we would go to the cemetary and then on memorial day have a feast of foods cooked on grill and different salads..it was always a great time of being with and visiting family.but for some reason I have not been allowed by them to go out to the country since my knee replacement surgery in January...they drive by my house at least once a week usually more---and the excuse is sometimes "we dont have time to get you" (i dont have a car) yet I find out that they came to town JUST to bring a non essential item to their daughter...hmmm why couldnt I be picked up then?? Im old not stupid so I know something is up....I wonder if I hadnt made the country such a haven for me would I be bothered by their actions---I just love fishing swimming and being in the country period...I also miss my family....today is another beautiful day and I cant enjoy it as much as I normally could by being somewhere fishing and or swimming....I wish I had friends that I could go with but everyone just seems to take off and go with no thought of me--and I am a pretty fun and funny person lol...is my being fat old and the sometimes needing cane or walker such a turn off no one wants to take me with them fishing or for that matter anywhere??? when I had a car I took people anywhere they wanted to go was always inviting people or asking "you need anything"...I wish I had a car or pickup but I cant afford a payment and insurance so thats why I sit here day after day wishing someone would have the heart to take me fishing with them...but so far no luck...guess gonna have to hang up my poles for good---I would rather die while fishing than have to give it up just cause I have no transportation...so thats my story on this nice memorial day..thank you service men and women and veterans for your service to our country..because of you I have the freedom to complain a little

Sounds like a serious crappie lover. We had a great time on Grand. Family, food and lots of fun over holiday.
