    Default Ramp conditions on Oologah

Has anybody been out this week on Oologah? I was wondering what kind of shape the ramps are in around Winganon and Spencer Creek...also Blue Creek. I know Eastside is up out of the water.

Spencer creek on the north side, is in good shape as of Friday. Vada is good if you put in on the gravel beach east of the ramp as of last Wednesday. Saturday, I put in on the gravel, south end of goose with no problems.

There is not a gravel beach at Vada. Some have put in to the east a bit, but you'll have to get your rear tires in the mud and best have 4 wheel drive if you want to get back out. A few people that have launched there, just leave their trailers sitting where they launch.

I put in there alot. I have a 4 wheel drive, but never used it. so mud, gravel, or whatever, it is a good place. If i am launching my boat there (my boat is kinda large), im pretty sure any boat can be launched there.

Thanks for the report...I've been a little hesitant to put in at Vada Point but may have to give it a try. I've got a bad case of crappie fever right now. Maybe I'll see you out there.

I was launching off the mud and rocks until the first soaking rain hit a couple weeks back. I have a 2 wheel drive ext cab chevy and can launch my boat with the rear tires still out of the water. But after the ground got wet, I got stuck and Bill pulled me out with his 4x4.

Reaper don't let Ledge fool you. Even though as you know his boat is about the size of the average house he does pull it out of the lake with a one ton truck with a bighorn sheep mounted on the hood . Even in two wheel quite a bit of muscle there.

My HDS-8 Gen 1 is worth more than my entire boat. If I only had one of those newfangled 12" touch that Lowrance has out. Man, I wonder if they'll take 3 kids, 2 dogs and a couple of cats in trade? Heck, I'll toss in Ranger and Odie boats to boot. Is Ledge aka TC?

I've though about getting a backhoe and digging a trench from the lake to my place just so I can leave my boat in the water 24/7/365. Wouldn't need a truck then.
