    Default New (to me) boat

Sold my pontoon and gave up my slip at Redbud. I have scoured the internet looking for a replacement. Found this one at Stillwater and drove over to take a look. I couldn't beleave what I saw. This is a 1997 Procraft 185 that is in almost new condition. There is not a ding or scratch on the entire hull. Has a 67 lb. thrust Minn Kota, HDS-5 on console, X-510-C on the bow, both new, 3 new trailer tires. Can't wait to get it on the water to see how it runs. By the way, is there anything more boring than reading the instruction book on a fishing locator? Why couldn't they just send a cd with all the set up info.?

Yeah. And the really nice part, cost less than 1/2 what I got for the Pontoon.

The ol "Diamond in the rough" scenerio! Hopefully I'll happen upon something like that when I get serious about buying a boat. Great catch! Hey OlJim, you wouldn't happen to know any of the Still's or Carr's from Sperry would ya?

no, actually I live about half way between Owasso and Sperry. We have a Sperry address but only go there when we need to go the post office.

I've got a long way to go at improving my fishing skills before I would feel comfortable fishing a tournament. If I could just get Reaper to tell me where he put all that brush in Talala Creek maybe I could improve some. At least I got a boat to get there.
