    Default Keyport Marina on Saturday!!

My wife and I went to Keyport Marina on Saturday and as we left I noticed that there was a teal colored ford ranger with a Crappie.com sticker on the back window. I figured I would post on here to see who that was!!

That would have been my girls and I in the ranger pickup. I hope James was right about the 24/7 setup and it works out well. He was also saying they would be dropping some brush piles.

    Dino,
Welp my wife and I were the ones by the door over by the tank that normally has Minnows in it! Maybe next time we can chat.....she is from Sapulpa so when we come visit we fish Sahoma alot! We live up in Nowata area right now, my family has a place up here and I went to HS in B'ville. So this area is home for me!

    Dino,
Do you know why they moved it from where it had been?

Not really but if I had to make a guess I'd say because the dock caught so much wind on that corner where it used to sit. The building would move a good 20' back and forth when hit by a gust of wind. I have seen rollers splash up over the side onto the floor inside moving it just south of the fuel dock should help with that

it wasn't a bad move... they put it over the spot where the boat dock was that was flipped. They said that there was still lots of brush left from the old dock there (belive me I found each and every twig!).. all in all I would say it was a good move.. that is if we can ever get some rain and raise lake levels. the wife and I caught about 10 dinks each but no keepers. They were hitting every type and kind of Bobby G's I tossed at em as well as hitting on minnows... the fish were running at about 6 FOW... at one point we were catching fish at 2 FOW.. so odd for this time of year.
