    Default Davis Happy Troller

Do any of you use the Happy Troller to slow the motor down to troll? I cannot get my 150 slower than 2.5 so am looking at buying the Happy Troller.

Well, I cant argue with that. I am thinking about buying one too. I found the one Chatt uses at BPS for around $100.00. The problem is I get soooooooo little time to fish anymore that it is hard to justify buying one.

I have one on my garage floor. I, too, couldn't get my 150 slow enough so I bought one. Bolted it on and it worked great. I do have one caution....promise no laughing?....don't ever forget to flip it up before you full throttle. It says it's made to bend away but mine broke the motor case fins off at the back bolts. Trying to figure out a different way to bolt it on so as not to have that problem again.
The best time to fish is whenever you can.
