Default Fort Cobb Today June 4th

Rigrunner caught a real nice 14 1/2 inch crappie in Fort Cobb lake and I think it was quite a beauty...it was great eating and almost a meal in it's self. He also amazed me with his talent for building a minnow trap...have not launched it yet but will on Monday. Now if I can just think of something I need building with wire....Name: CIMG7222 (3).JPG

Thanks for all the comments. I'm hoping to catch perch for our catfish jugs. If it'll will hold minnows I'll use them for crappie. I used the 1/2 inch mesh, more for perch, and bullheads.

RR - Try garlic weiners on your jug lines. Cut the weinnies into approx 1" pieces and dust with garlic powder or garlic salt then nuke for 1 minute, then repeat for another minute and your done. They work as good as fresh shad but easier to acquire.
