    Sissy and I took Shawna and her friend Brandy out for some doodolesockin down south and they did great, had a fun day with them.

    We started off hot and by evening they seemed to go back out and the wind was horrible, but we managed 15 with these 2 slab females. All on blk./chart. and Pump./chart. beavertails. In 1'-2' ow. Not alot of good cover this year to fish so just look for a sloping bank or drop offs on points.Thumbs Up

    Great Fish. We decided to stay over here at Kerr instead of heading to Eufaula. 1 fish in the beds, several females in 8 fow 3ft deep next to wood.

    Down to Hwy.31 east of Krebs, they were really scattered. Looks like with cool weather coming back it will delay them again.

    I can't remember getting a report in here that has been more pleasing to see. Those girls look like they had a great time and enjoyed themselves to the max. Good pictures and good story, thanks for sharing Leland.Hands Clapping

    At their age it's tough to get them to go fishin, but they are ready to go back soon! When their little anything you do they are right there. Then comes school, cool, cell phones and boys....maybe we got their minds off that for at least 4 hours, LOL!

    Great to see those kids fishing, my daughter came home last week from college to visit and asked if I could take her fishing,she hasn't done that for several years. Used to take her all the time when she was little. She is now 22 y/o and sure felt good to be with her sitting on a creek bank and talking about stuff. Only caught one big female crappie but will be one of my best and most memorable trips.
