Thread: Arcadia Lake Report?

Sorry, I don't fish Arcadia lake since it is costly to pay for the parking permit there. I would if it was a reasonable price.

I can only give fishing reports for Hefner and Overholser. I will try to fish Hefner this Friday and give a full report.

yeah...no kidding..i hate to pay to go fish...but it is only 6 dollars through the week days and i have done pretty good there in the past...but i would like to know if they are biting before i go shell out the money

I have fished there a couple times this winter and some friends of mine fish there pretty regularly. Everyone says it has been sporadic at best.

OK guy's, here is the report as it is for this week-----Fishing at Arcadia has been veeeeeeery slow as much of the other lakes in the area. I went this morning with about 20 or 25 other people--if everyone had put all the fish caught in one bucket you might have been able to feed a family of four. The fishing at night has not been any better. If you had read the paper last week you would have thought they were jumping on the bank just waiting for you to pick them up. HAHAHAHAHAHAH. I think someone needed to sell some minnows. The "fed's" are checking one or two times a day for parking reciepts and fishing lic. so if you go make sure you are paid up.

Dirk is correct, they come and they go-----when they come there are only a few and when they go there are none.

thanks for that fishing report!...All the years I have been fishing there, I have never been checked for anything!...times are tough and they are looking for their money too. Make sure if you go through the week to put that money in the honor box and put the ticket in your car window!...It would be aweful tempting just to drive on in and not pay. Keep us updated if anything changes!!!!
