Josh, Good to hear of some Crappie being caught but how bout making a short story longer...water temp, clarity, depth, what you were using, etc.

umm well...
water temp.. unsure they said there was ice on the lake last week still
depth... 15-20 ft
water clarity... stained to dirty looking
lure... they were biting on just about anything form pink,chartuse,black,green,and even a little yellow,silver, white,red but
makes me feel good cause i caught them all on the lures i made
but when i cleaned them they had lots of shad in there bellies and some of them even had a few eggs in them

Nice catch! I was curious what part of the day they were biting? I've only been free to fish the first couple hours of morning lately, and haven't had much success. I've been wondering if they were biting better after it warmed up more, or if I've just been in the wrong places.
