Default It's 10pm, Do You Know Where Your Crappie Are?

How about we all try to check in at night, say around 10 pm if you happen to be up and let everyone know how each is doing. If you been fishing, caught any, done anything related to fishing, or just have something to share.

Its so slow right now I am beginning to miss you guys..... wondering how all of you are doing.

All is well here, just wondering about the rest of you.

Well, I'm sitting here changing out the line on my reels. Tackle box is all sorted nice and neat. I'm thinking about the fact my last frozen bag of crappie went on the table about a week ago. The boats pretty ready but the missus says I can't go by myself in the cold weather stumble around too much. Guess I'll try some off the dam at Hefner one of these days soon.

I am regretting not keeping more fish when I was fishing in the spring. i have a company Christmas party that I am providing the fish for. I will be hitting the lake every afternoon this week trying to get what I need. Oh well, good excuse to skip out from the office to fish. Hope everyone has a good week.

Stink - Your home is taking shape and it appears to be extremely well built and as solid as a brick ---t house. I was impressed with the quality. I am sorry I don't live closer to give you a hand. I enjoyed our visit last week with LR and Sissy. I will check with Lucky Lure Co. to see if they would be willing to donate some items for the March meeting. I will also contact my friend in Arkansas and get 100 1/16th oz road runners to be divided up into 5 or 10 packs. We can use them as give aways for a raffle. I guess I could pour up some 1/16th jigs too and use them as give aways.

    be good,

    Geo

Well I've been working most of the time. Fixin to have my long turn around and plan on either duck hunting or fishing. I think I need to start thinning out the deep freeze of the crappie to get ready for 2010. I wonder if I could eat up about 500 fillets of crappie by the first of Feburary. I will not keep any fish over 9 months in the freezer and I just realized the other day I had more in the freezer than I thought. Maybe I'll post some pics as I eat them to get you guys tummies grouling some. Starting to make me hungry now. Fish, hushpuppies, fried tators, slaw and ice tea. Wow guess what I'm having this coming Tuesday.

My fish are packed nicely away in my deep freeze. alongside some shrimp, pheasants quail, wild turkey, elk, and buffalo. I know because I straightened the deep-freeze Friday night I date all my wild game as to when it was packed away, and rotate it.

Good eatin's this winter, and I'm sure I'll add a few more bags of crappie before spring.
