Those guys were lucky you got called into work Doug.
We had 13 teams fish on a beautiful day. I got called in to work just before 7, so Brian fished with Russell out of my boat. That is one thing I love about these guys, they all get along and trust each other with their equipment. We had several new teams fish with us today. This was the 1st and 2nd place teams first crappie . com tournament, we hope it won't be their last. Thank you to Dean for the hospitality and his ladies, who served a wonderful breakfast. Also want to thank our sponsors Redneck Rubber (the Holsons) and Power Crappie LLC. ( Ken Roberson). Redneck Rubber gave a $75, 4th place prize and a $25 store credit to Winganon Bait and Tackle. Ken donated a Todd Huckabee rod of choice to the big fish winner! Thanks to Brian for running the tournament and Kevin DeLong for being our designated check in guy. Hope to see everyone at Tenkiller Feb. 11th.

Common sense isn't always that common!
I am relatively new to CDC. I have been lurking/looking/learning from this site for about the past year. I plan on fishing some of the tournaments, had to work this weekend. As a new guy, one of my main goals in fishing these tournaments is putting faces to folks call signs. What boats they fish out of, etc. This puts a face to a sign in name, but also puts a face/name to a boat when we see each other on the lake in the future. I am sure most know each other, but I don't.
Can I suggest, in the tournament results, can you add, since all entrants are CDC members, each persons sign on name with their real name?
Just a suggestion from a new guy.
Thanks
Bryan
Looks like you all had a great time!! Sorry I missed it.
Hopefully the 1,2 and 3 teams will post up the details on what they fished, baits they used etc, to win the tourney.

I don't think it would have mattered George. Russell is an excellent fisherman and we weren't on the fish very good before the tournament, we were fishing too deep. Brian and Russell discovered that yesterday during the tournament. I wish I would have discovered it before yesterday, the fishing would have been better for keepers.

Also, I think it would be a great thing if the top three finishers would share what worked for them, general areas fished, depths, lure types and sizes, techniques. The pro bass fishermen always share that sort of info after tourneys. Most of us are on here to learn and improve, including myself. I appreciate it very much.
George and I were fishing standing timber in 10'ish using Beaver Bottoms (pumpkin / chartreuse and pearl / chartreuse) with Huckabee rods. Slow presentation.
