We found fish in 25-30 fow. Brush was better to me than suspended fish. Color and size of bait did not seem to matter. The best and most consistent color for was chart head and hot pink (super slab thingy called hot momma) from frank300. I double dipped with that mated with a black/red super slab. The other rod I ran just opposite, I used frank300 micro minnow in gray ghost and pink. I caught the #2 big fish on gray ghost micro minnow. We only hit about 70 fish all day. Luckily, our average was higher. We set out to look for isolated big fish and not play the numbers game. We caught all our fish by noon. The wind was so strong and we were on fish good enough, my 101lbs TM would not maintain. Fishers started the 250 suk and let her idel for 1 hr, controlling it and let me fish the front. I used the TM for left and right. The idel was a perfect hold, and we continued to put fish in the boat.
