Guys this motel is within walking distance to grizzly jig right across from casino. I have stayed here the last 2yrs(573) 333-4333

The Grizzly Jig Tackle Show is getting closer, January 26th -29th and we are starting to firm up plans to make the trip. Several folks from the OKC area are planning on going...anyone from the Eastern part of Oklahoma interested? Watch for more updates and information...

12:00 Lunch at Fish House, Conway, AR
6:00 pm - Arrive at Comfort Inn, Hayti, MO.
Jan. 26th, Thursday 7:00 am - Grizzly Jig Sales Start
Jan. 27th, Friday 7:00 am - Doors Open
Jan. 28th, Saturday 7:00 am - Doors Open
Jan. 29th, Sunday 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
12:30 pm - Depart Grizzly Jig
9:00 pm - Arrive OKC

The best deal we've found for these dates are at the Comfort Inn in Hayti, MO which is 10-15 minutes from Caruthersville, MO., 1500 Highway 84, 1.573. 359.2200. I booked online through "Choice Hotels" as did IkenI. Room rates were $80.00 per night for a room with 2 double beds. Includes Breakfast. Reservations can be cancelled 24 hours before arrival date. There may be a "Special Rate" for Grizzly Jig. I will check on this and report back. The Receptionist indicated they typically fill up on the Tackle Show weekend. The schedule is to drive over on Wednesday, Jan. 25th and drive back to OKC on Sunday afternoon, January 29th. The drive is 554 miles and about 8 1/2 hours. If you plan on going, I suggest making your reservation now and cancel the reservation if your plans change. IkenI is taking his truck and can take 3 passengers who will be paying for the gas. Any other volunteers to take vehicles?

Talked to Grizzly Jig person today, 13Dec16, and she indicated the event schedule will be confirmed in early January. Will post it as soon as it is available.

I have had a few things come up and will not be able to make the trip. Hopefully I will be able to go sometime in the future. Have a good trip and be safe!
