THE 2017 GRIZZLY JIG SPRING TACKLE SHOW DATES ARE JAN. 26th - 29th. It seems like a long way off, however, this is a very popular event and motels fill up fast. Several I checked on only have a few rooms left. We will probably have to stay in a town near Caruthersville, MO and drive in each day. The trip is approximately a seven (7) hour drive from OKC and is mostly I-40. One suggestion is to take several cars/trucks from different starting points based on when folks want to leave and when they need to return. I'll keep checking on motels and will post a Tackle Show Schedule as soon as it is available. This is the Schedule from the January 2016 Tackle Show to give you an idea of the type events they have. Don't wait to long to decide!!!!!

I previously guessed at the dates (correctly) and made my reservations some time ago. I used a Comfort Inn in Hatyi, Mo which was a Grizzly Jig referred hotel last year. There were not many rooms available when I made my reservation. The reservation is able to be cancelled with 24 hrs notice.

IkenI, what day are you traveling to the Grizzly Jig Tackle Show and what day traveling back to OKC?

I plan on travelling to there on Weds, to be there for the opener on Thurs. Then returning on Sun afternoon.

Room Reservations for Grizzly Jig Tackle Show - Jan. 26th - Jan. 29th
The best deal we've found for these dates are at the Comfort Inn in Hayti, MO which is 10-15 minutes from Caruthersville, MO., 1500 Highway 84, 1.573. 359.2200. I booked online through "Choice Hotels" as did IkenI. Room rates were $80.00 per night for a room with 2 double beds. Includes Breakfast. Reservations can be cancelled 24 hours before arrival date. I called the motel this morning and at this point they have plenty of rooms, however, the Receptionist indicated they typically fill up on the Tackle Show weekend. My schedule is to drive over on Wednesday, Jan. 25th and drive back to OKC on Sunday afternoon, January 29th. The drive is 554 miles and about 8 1/2 hours. IkenI is doing the same. If you plan on going, I suggest making your reservation now and cancel the reservation if your plans change. Any thoughts on transportation?......dave

Grizzly usually negotiates a special show rate with hotels closer to show time..seems like I remember $65....
