    Default Boat robbed

My Buddy's Nitro Z8 was robbed on lake tenkiller a couple of weeks back. It was on a lift in his private dock when they stripped all the fishing stuff out as well as taking the cover and the front pedestal seat. The saving grace was both locators are built in and they left those alone. If anyone hears of someone trying to sell a Nitro Bass boat cover please let me know...maybe we can buy it back at a good price vs $400+ for a new replacement

In the 60's I lived on Lake Texoma and swam around a large boat dock at Newberry Creek. Most people left all their fishing equipment in their boats and I never remember anyone losing a single thing.

Sorry to hear that bad news -- that sucks. We can't leave anything on our boat on the lift at our dock. We had someone last year climb under the cover from the stern but the only electronics on the boat is the base for the Depth Finder and the base for the stereo. I take the main units off both. We even have to chain our tables and chairs to our dock to keep kids from just throwing them in the water.

Times have changed for sure. Used to be able to go to bed with the doors and windows open. Now you go to bed with a Glock under your pillow.

I haven't done it yet but been thinking about hiding a trail camera up high on the cross beam looking down at the boat. Of course it wouldn't prevent but at least may have a decent pic for the sheriff.
