I have taken several of you guy's fishing and plan to fish with several others on my home lake Wister. I love watching people catch big crappie and making new friends that share the same passion for crappie fishing and making new friends as I do. I have a few friends that are guides and are top notch such as Tommy Ezzell and Brian Young. This article describes people that are posers and really have no place in the industry. They will find out in time their services will soon no longer be needed . But I have to say for the most part joining Oklahoma CDC has brought a lot of super nice people I consider friends in my life such as Odie,Ledge,Swollen Crappie,D street,Reeper and the list goes on. As you have seen on a post that fishing a ledge posted, this guy is not a guide but as myself he loves taking people out that doesn't get to experience what he gets to on a weekly basis. He called me up knowing what I was going through with my dad and set up a trip to take me,dad and my dads best friend and man what a memorable trip my dad is still talking about it and he usually doesn't remember much. These are the type of people I surround myself with and looking forward to meeting more of the same on this forum. With that being said there are a lot of good people and guides out there but unfortunately we don't live in a perfect world and the bad people are out among us. I'm not posting this to offend anyone but if it does then you must be guilty.

Well this is very interesting way to put it. I've personally spent a weekend fishing with WSD and he's a person you can learn alot from his what alot of us need to be more like. And now considered a good friend. But we've got some people on this form that take advantage of people and company's. To make them look like there someone there NOT!! Who most people call a want bee's. And they know who they are! But as far as WSD we all can learn something from him not just how to fish but how to be a better person!

No one cares about a lil ole Texas Crappie Guide but thanks for the kind words. Besides there aren't any crappie south of the red river. Shhhhhh! Lol

I just read the link to WSD post that I did not see the first time and it is so true , and I must say that there are those who for there own gain will get as many sponsors as they can and never be able to do them any good because they are only after free stuff for themselves, it is a shame that someone would be that way. Don't do as I did be sure to look at the link just enough reading to make you think I know someone like that . Makes you think Please share on all your facebook accounts and lets expose people like this
