Thread: Ranger 373v Restore Project

I've been having trouble getting proper titles for boat and motor. I went ahead and launched this morning for testing. Motor could use a few adjustments but other than that she ran great. Had to test the TM as well and worked a couple of banks. Live wells filling just fine when I hit the aerator switches along with the boat filling up as well. YUP, she takes on water bigtime. Glad the bilge test worked 'cause I was needing to keeping it going almost constantly to keep up with the amount of water coming into the bottom of the boat. I haven't checked out the problem but have a feeling the front livewell drain line shrunk and pulled off the livewell fitting. I found the same thing with the drain hoses in the back of the boat. I just hope I can access the thing from the drain plate in the floor. I'll look into it later.

I'm currently redoing the flooring on my neighbors Deep V Lowe. He should like the rekindled look I'm going to give her.
