Full disclosure- I went to grad school at OU but root for the Cowboys during bedlam. So I'm wondering if Stoops has addressed the right side of the line here. In points scored the 2014-15 OU offense ranked 21st where the defense ranked 56th. Is it too late to beg Venables to come back you think? (-;

Yeah the defense was worse than the offense this year but the defense was great last year. Just had a hiccup this year. We'll see about that. Let's just hope Baker Mayfield pays off next year or else the offense has no hope. A lot forget but Trevor Knight only started half the season last year with only two stellar performances, KSU and Alabama. Many took his performance in the Alabama game into this year as though he was going to be the cream of the crop. OU has to get a QB or else any OC will look stupid calling plays.

Blood is thicker than water so Mike is secure as DC unless he gets a better offer (LSU?) and leaves. IMO if Bob doesn't replace him than Bob needs to go. Anyone that watched the KSU game should see that Mike didn't have a clue.
