Take her suggestion, but build your room twice as big as you think you will need.

I have an 8' x 3' workbench in the garage that feels plenty of big for anything I did on it that I had to cut down to 6' x 3' yesterday because navigating it with the boat in was very difficult. Pretty sure I won't be going anything under 8' x 3' for the main work area as the 6' x 3' seems tiny now! Maybe I can go smaller if I do two designated work areas. One for jigs and another for plastics.

Yeah, but pretty soon you gotta trade in the johnboat for something a little bigger then what. Plan ahead now for the ark you will build when Thumper's Jigs takes off!

Got the temporary station built this week until I get the shop out back built. A little small but is all the room I had in the garage between the boat and cars. Also got out tonight and practiced for the 1st time shooting some plastics. Took me several tries but finally got the groove of it. Still have miles more to go before I am up and running. Just thought I would share.
