Default Stolen Fishing Rods & Reels

I had several fishing rod and reels stolen from my carport within the last week. If you see them, please contact me. There is a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved. The stolen rods & reels will be fairly easy to spot. I also marked these rods and reels in a way that only I can identify.

Here's a partial list of the Rods & Reels stolen:

2 12' American Rodsmith Surf Rods with cork wrapped handles.

    One Diawa Sealine Reel

2 Shakespeare Ugly Stick Spinning rods with orange painted tips. These rods had Cardinal 101 Spinning reels on them.

Small Spinning reel on a red Berkley Ultra Lite rod.

Cardinal spincast reel on a Shakespeare Ugly Stick.

Zebco 33 reel on a Shakespeare Ugly Stick.

Quantum 1310mg Reel on a Quantum Rod.

Several of these Reels had Yellow Hi Vis line and the Quantum had Orange line on the reels.

Sorry to hear about that. Nothing worse than a thief taking something you have worked hard for. Hope you find them.

Thanks guys for the kind words. In retrospect I shouldn't have left those rods & reels out there. I'd been doing it for years along with other stuff because I had no room in the Garage. The ceiling racks in the garage are full of my "good" rods...lol.

Seriously though, who would risk their life for some measly fishing rod & reels? I don't get it. I guess they simply don't place much value on their lives and that's a shame.

Start watching Craigslist and the local pawn shops. I hate thieves!

Default I had a similar problem after the kids were let out of school

I put up a couple of outdoor cameras and capture the video to a computer. Caught the kids breaking into my cars and it turned out they were a RING of kid thieves with houses full of stolen goods. Sad they were from good families and their parents were clueless. Good luck brother on getting your gear back... watch ebay, craigslist, pawnshop etc... best of luck.

Funny you mentioned that. I was planning on buying a few new game cameras this year. The other day I was thinking how useful they may be around the house just for that reason! Sounds like I need to get planning!!
