    I would be fishing at night in 5-15 fow with cranks or acrawler with a good size blade to send out a good thump for them to home in on.

    Sparky, I tried last night in a couple of my spots and only managed to catch crappie and catfish. I did catch one labor day weekend in about 6 fow but only one in about 4 hours. I would think it will start soon and I will let you know when I or one of my buddies start smacking them.

    fished six hours caught one sand bass very small . Trolled crankbaits and had no luck with walleye so i went for crappie and caught one sandie
