I will be surprised if that law is enforced! I think it will be what ever mood the lake patrol is in?
That's good EB, helping out folks who cant take the heat. After they run us off from the bridges! Used to be able to pull under them and get some relief and catch alot of crappie too.

Hmmm, let me see; The terrorists might choose to attack a bridge in Oklahoma rather than a subway, tunnel, sky-scraper, Wall Street, or Times Square in NYC?
AMERICANS: Willing to cross a frozen river to kill you, in your sleep, on Christmas, totally not kidding, we've done it.
Doesn't it say "anchored or tied"? We need I-pilots with stop-lock
The lake patrol better get two tcket books with two or three pens under the bridges on memorial day and July 4th! Because there will be people fishing under those bridges!
I wouldn't mind so much if they do enforce the rule under the bridges. I get a little bothered when people pull up under the bridge and throw an anchor up on the rocks then back out 30 feet off the bank and drop another anchor. They take up a huge amount of space and disrupt everyone trying to troll. One guy is no big deal but sometimes when the fishing is good the whole bridge gets filled with them.
I tarpon fished in Tampa Bay a few times and it was interesting to see the boat etiquette there. The tarpon were on a flat in a pass and there were 75 to 100 boats fishing them on that flat. No one anchored up in the fishing area ever. Each boat would start at the west end of the fishing area and drift with the current to the east. Once you were through the area you would go out to deep water and go around the fishing area back to the west and start all over again. Everyone did it this way and there were rarely an issues even when boats were very close to each other. I wish it were like that here.
Sorry for the rant.
Excellant point meatdragger!
They will need to put a sign up on the piers otherwise they will be writing tickets every single day.
