You are doing an amazing job. I remember when you started with this and the problems along the way but things are looking great. Should have good weather through the weekend. Good luck.

Thanks Southern Woman, George, and I think Gambler made a reply shortly after I posted this earlier today, and when I had to delete my reply due to photo problems, it apparently deleted his comment.... ??

I was just thinking as I put my tools up for the day, I might try to have a dozen or so of you folks over after the 1st of the year for a fish fry and small get together. Just a thought....... nothing set yet in my head.

Rigrunner and I would be honored-- if it is not snowing, hailing or iced over.

I meant to say...."We would be honored to come to your house warming if we were ask, but not if it is snowing, hailing or icy conditions. " Just want to set the record straight and now back to the lake for more fishing.

I knew what you meant young lady and I wouldn't want anyone to travel during inclimate weather.

Here's the update on getting the soffit up, the narrow piece on the West side:

It went up well, but was very time consuming and difficult because of the narrow scaffolding and having to use a ladder. The scaffolding (set-up by the roofers) works great if you're roofing, but if you have to work under the roof, it entails a lot of stooping over and tweaking around to get into position. I am plum tuckered out and what doesn't hurt and ache, doesn't belong on my body. Tired.......

I'll have this wrapped up tomorrow, get my flood lights installed, touch-up the painting on all the necessary spots, and I might start pulling down some of the scaffolding. Anyway, this is what I've got done today, thanks for looking.

One more shot of the Northwest corner showing the pigtail of electrical cord hanging down waiting for one of the flood lights.

How about bringing some of them pecan pies you ripped off at the "Get-Together" last March? I personally saw you sneak 3 under your jacket and out to your truck. No doubt in the freezer........ bring em buddy.

No pics for today, but I got the floodlights installed and the rest of the trim on the soffit. Not sure if I'm still tired from yesterday or got more tired today with the work installing the floodlights, but I still feel beat. Had a few more things I wanted to get done today, but I pitched in the towel about 15 minutes ago.
