    We could, if we know that's a problem for anyone but I've switched to about everything over the years and always gone back cause of greasy fish. Hush Puppies and fries not so bad. Your call.

    If we go with something other than Lou Anna I would recommend Canola Oil. IMO its not as good as peanut oil but it's fairly close. Most veg oils have a lower flash point (thus the greasy fish.) According to the FDA refined oils should be pretty much devoid of proteins, and thus any allergens, which is why the FDA doesn't require foods fried in peanut oil to be labeled with a peanut allergen warning. Again according to the FDA "Crude" peanut oil caused reactions in approximately 10% of those persons allergic to peanuts.

    I also season my fish a little more than some.

    Anybody have a guess how many beans we'll need? They are in half gallon containers...also they have spicy and mild which do you guys prefer? Think last time I got the regular...

    2017 Oklahoma Spring Crappie Camp / Schedule of Events / April 7 – 9
    The Spring Crappie Camp is scheduled for April 7-9 on Lake Skiatook at the Twin Points Campgrounds. Each site has 110v, 30 amp electrical service and shared water connections (suggest bring a duplex water valve). Each site also has a picnic table, grille and a fire ring. There is a restroom and shower facility nearby. Each RV site is allowed one tent camper, at no extra charge, in addition to the RV or first tent. The normal rental rate is $20.00 (verify) per night and there is a 50% reduction for America the Beautiful Passes.

    How to reserve a RV space.
    1. Log on to Federal recreation, camping and tour reservation information - Recreation.gov
    2. The rental rate of $20.00 (verify) will be required to hold the reservation.

    Friday Evening: Hot Dogs & Brauts at Campsite #46, compliments of Chef IkenI (Floyd Carter) + Chef Bea

    Note: Bring a side dish, chips or desert.

    shortdraw, 1/2 gal should be enough with all the other food that will be there...
