    I usually don't cook chili till the weather is good and cold but...October is national Chili month so I will relinquish my position of chief chili judge and make up a pot. Right now all I have to compete against is Crappiepappas "weak and greasy" and Dave's "Hormel" so I should be a Shoo-in. Let's get 3 or 4 or more entries so we can make this interesting. Dave will have to appoint a new set of Judges. At first, I thought it should be the Kansas raiders, but, I lived there for three years (got my lifetime license) and cannot recall having one bowl of decent chili that I didn't make during that time. I'm in!

    I wish I could make the fiasco, eer, ahh, event this year, but I am taking first time youth deer hunters on their first hunt. I would have jumped in on the chili fixin contest. MY AWARD WINNING CHILI does not produce multiple concussions (earthquakes)a few .hours later. Mine is made from scratch (yours,mine,hers) and simmered to perfection. No fire just flavor and loaded with venison. Made for the carnivore in us all.
