Just curious any jayhawkers planning on making this camp?

Who can attend and how much does it cost

Anyone can attend And as Dave had previously mentioned their is a donation box to help cover supplies used for the dinners /food. You won't find a better group to talk crappie with.

Come on Down-no cost, just a small donation to cover purchased food supplies. Most will be camped at Sarge Creek campgrounds (tents or RV)! Great bunch of guys to hang out with!

Kennystark - this post has the info. it's very informal - Eat, Sleep, Fish! Get to meet some great fishermen and there is almost always a local that can give you a heads up on the lake. Come on down, all you Kansans!

It's official ! The Sarge Creek Campgrounds on Kaw Lake has been selected for the 2016 Oklahoma Spring Crappie Camp on April 22 -24th. We have reserved five RV sites, #47 - #51 with electricity and water and can accommodate several tent campers. Please respond if you need a tent space. RV sites # 37, # 39, #40 and # 43 are still available at a cost of $18 each night if you want a separate site. You can make a reservation through Recreation.gov. The closest motels are located in Ponca City about 10 miles away. Live bait is available at JoBi's One Stop in Kaw City.

Kennystark, everyone is welcome to join us at the Spring Camp. The only planned event is the Saturday night Fish Fry. We usually gather up in the evenings at one of the campsites and talk about Crappie fishing and the fish that got away. dstreet, who lives on Kaw Lake has given us several locations where he fishes and these locations are marked on a lake map which will be given out at Camp. No guarantee...you still have to catch them! Looking forward to meeting you at Camp......Dave
