I plan on bringing an array of Huckabee Rods to the camp if anyone is interested. Ken (Starfish) stated that he could let us have them at the Show price (pm me for that).

Depending on the type/style of fishing you do, should determine which rod might suit you best. I mainly use one rod, one bait dipping brush. I mostly use a 1/16th oz jig but will tie on a 1/8 oz in windy conditions. I also use braid on my Huckabee Dippin Stick. They will not warranty a rod when braid is used, but as long as the braid hasn't wrapped itself around the tip, and you're hung up solid, just point the rod towards the hang up, wrap your line around your reel handle and pull staight until line breaks or jig comes out. I've done this 500 times on one of my Dippin Sticks and it's still going strong. One of the best features I've discovered is that I can feel the slightest of hits with it. I was with Buck this last Monday and caught a crappie maybe 3.5" long. The only way I knew it hit was that the weight of my jig got lighter so I set the hook. Name: IMG_1689.jpg

Size: 67.7 KB I got this lil fella Sunday with Allen, but he thumped the Bobby Garland Electric Chicken.

If you are interested in one of these rods, contact me and I'll make sure I have one on hand for you. Should you choose to order 5 at a time, there is slight price break per rod. Cash or Credit Card will be accepeted. Here's a link to look at them to give you an idea.

https://toddhuckabeerods.com/ I have heard the 10'7" Pro Series Rod is deadly but have not had a chance to fish it, nor have I fished the Meatdragger.

Dave Brown has done an excellent job organizing all the camps and has had some really good turnouts and good people show up for them. It's all about the fellowship and doing something we all love.

(Allen, notice the Huckabee link has "beer" in it?)

Send me a PM if interested.
