How does one become a member of this Crappie Camp? My last Dr's appointment I was asked/advised not to drive anymore for health reasons, I'm in Norman, Oklahoma and would need a ride to the event. I
will pitch in for gas, food, drink or lodging. I'm on disability and help where needed, God bless this community also good fishing.
BBJ - there aren't' too many Okie CDC members from the Metro area. I'm in SW OKC and usually make the Crappie Camps but for the Fall camp I'm going to be at Fort Gibson with family and friends from Kansas well over a week before the camp begins. It's something several of us have had planned since last year. When I go east my wife (and dogs) are usually with me. I'm not sure anyone is coming to the fall camp this year. Dave put out the notice some time ago and it appears no one is interested, or at least they haven't expressed an interest. The main camp is usually the first weekend in June each year and is a family event. Regardless, all you have to do is show up and have fun. We had a pretty successful Winter Camp at Hugo earlier in the year.

My Dr's advised/told me not to drive anymore for health reasons, type 2 diabetes that comes with poor vision also severe anxiety disorder.
I would need a ride to the Oklahoma Crappie Camp's, most of my family lives in other areas of country or have passed away. My therapist/Dr's want me to meet people, make new friends also live life to the fullest. I have asthma/COPD/HBP also
depression. If you need confirmation, I give you permission to give Craig Hitchcock a call

I am going to do my best to be at this one. I know I am arriving a little late to the party, but I hope that it is cool with everyone. I will probably be there on Friday and camp out through the weekend in a tent.
