I can testify that Allen's onions do indeed, eat like apples! They are yummy for sure!

I'm leaving in the morning for the first part of my October trip. My plan is still to drive up on Friday morning and then repeat on Saturday. Hope to see everyone there.

Not so good news for the camp. Corps of Engineers saying the lake will be 8-10' above normal by next weekend with heavy flows in the river where the fall bite is prime this time of year. This is due to the heavy rains received upstream.

The crappie will still bite as they eat everyday. The trick is finding them and what they want. It can be very tough though! It does present a challenge for safe navigation.

Yeah I was worrying about the lake level due to all this rain. Oh well. Be fun getting out on a different lake.

Ft Gibson flood water when up 4' the ramp to dock will start to get under water and at some point shortly their after the road to west camp area will close. Someone may want to talk to Ft Gibson ranger about flooded camp ground.
