Ding dang it Merle. I was for sure this was the camp to bust wide open and everyone catch some crappie! I won't be able to attend this camp either.

Yes Yes Yes. Ranger and Wife will be in Cabin 8 Thursday thru Sunday.
Robert Howell and wife Hellen will be in Cabin 9 same time frame

I have a cabin available if anyone wants it. I will hold it for 1 week before cancing it. It was rented for friend and sponsor Robert Howell but since this camp isn't the big one he will just wait till the June Camp. With that said IF YOU NEED A CABIN PLEASE CALL ME AND TAKE IT OFF MY HANDS.

UPDATE 02.27.2015 / Spring Camp at Lake Wister / March 20- 22, 2015

Campground Change at Lake Wister

Wister Slab Daddy, aka Robert, has negotiated the use of the Group Camp Facility at Victor Campgrounds for the Tournament and Camping activities. Go to www.facebook.com/wister.groupcamp for photos. The Group Camp has six A-Frame Cabins, Restroom & Shower Building and a separate Kitchen/Dining Building. You will need to bring towels, linens, blankets, etc for a twin size bed (or a sleeping bag).

There is a fully equipped Kitchen/Dining area with tables and chairs for 100 folks. The total cost is a bargain at less than $50.00 per person for all three nights. You can stay Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday nights. More details will be posted later. Also there are RV and Tent sites located in the Campgrounds on a first come basis.

CrowderCrappie (Bill Kneeland) and I will be fixing sausage gravy, biscuits and coffee in the Kitchen on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings at about 6:00 am or 6:30 am. Come join us!

The Fish Fry will be on Saturday evening with Chef Wister Slab Daddy and his Crew cooking at the Campgrounds. Side dishes are always welcome. Time of Fish Fry to be determined depending on how the Crappie are biting.

If you are interested in reserving a space in one of the cabins, please respond to this post as soon as possible. Wister Slab Daddy will be coordinating the reservations and cabin assignments. If you want to be in a cabin with your friend(s) let WSD know in your response or send him a PM. Looking forward to a great Oklahoma Spring Crappie Camp!!!

This is a great deal! Everyone join in and let us know you are staying with us. We all are cancelling our cabins and staying here in group camp. We need a head count and like Dave said if you have a group you want to stay together let WSD know.
