Hey odie are you fishing corp piles or others.
I will watch for you out there deerhunterodie. And Reaper too when he gets his rig fixed up. I put in at Vada yesterday. Fished same areas and caught only one keeper and several dinks. Had the grandson with me and he just didn't have any fun till I pulled up to shore and he started climbing over some boulders. That five year old is 1/2 goat, maybe more. I got honey-dos today then back to work tonight. It will be Tue or Wed before I can fish again.

We went out today and battled the wind. We couldn't find very many places to get out of the wind at all. We started in Talala creek then went to the north side of Winganon bridge and couldn't hardly hold on the brush either place and didn't catch them either place. We ended up at Spencer creek bluffs managed to catch 10 with 2 keepers. Tough day but still better than work.

Its all about how ya wiggle it!
Us Oologah guys are going to have to try and meet someday this spring at Vada point. No telling how many times we've seen each other, not knowing the other. Anyone on C.C will always be welcome to belly up to my boat. I've never minded someone fishing next to me. I hope I can be able to fish a non windy day and make a run N of wigganon to explore the area.
Reaper, Where Fish come to Fry
Reaper - Have you fished much in Lightening Creek in the Spring? My understanding is its full of stumps.
crop e man I'll pm you. Reaper that is a great idea. I would like to meet several of the guys that live by Oologah or fish Oologah. I have only lived here for 5 yrs and am still learning the lake. I fish a lot during the week when most people are having to work. If any of you have jobs where your off during the week maybe we can hook up.

Anything about a mile north of winganon get real hairy for all the trees. I've been up there a couple times with people that know the lake real well and they still always seem to find several with the boat every time we go.
