with as low and dangerous as the lake has been, and now finally back to a somewhat normal level. I am surprised the CORP is releasing water. We need that water in the lake. Summer is going to come and unless we get more rain. The draining from the dam. There is going to be alot of boating accidents come boating season.

I got a chance to pull the boat out on Sunday around 4:00 - 4:30p and fished til 8:30p. I had 18 keepers fishing 8 -16 fow over brush. The females I caught were pretty much spawned out, with 2-3 males in the mix. Jigs only. The bite was good from the time I got there until the time I left. Hopefully I can make it out again Tuesday evening.

FINALLY! Hit the lake at 7 pm last night hooked the first fish at 8 and it was on for a 30 45 min period picking 21 by 9. Nice fish too some females full of eggs and some spawned out. Wasted a lot of time with a minnow and bobber until I grabbed a jig and began nailing them cast after cast. Oologah does have crappie still! Most fish in 3 - 5 fow some less

Another 15 tonight with my second bonus walleye of the season, a couple bonus bass and a blue cat. Again the bite turned on the last hour, worked hard and several diff areas before we found them.

Took my daughter fishing last night. We caught 33, 15 of them were real nice. The best bite was 20 minutes before dark to dark, in 10 FOW. The last 2 nights I have seen people quitting to early, the best bite was right at dark!!

2 of my buddies brough home 25 keepers yesterday. Most of the fish were in 3 to 5 ft of water. Jigs only. Wish I would have been free to join them!
