I fished yesterday. The wind was bad and the fishing was worse. I did not catch a fish and only had a couple of bites. I didn't have any minnows so I just jigged. I talked to 2 other boats, one boat had 3 and the other had 1. They had been fishing for a while when I talked to them. First time in a long time I have been skunked, the weather was beautiful though.

Fished Oologah today and brought home 17 very nice fish. Caught lots of fish. Many I could have kept, but still have a freezer full from this spring. Fish were 12 to 14' deep in 16 to 18' of water. Lake Fork Baby Shad in chartruese /white was the best bait, followed by white/ chatreuse Rocky Top tubes Caught a few on Jigum Jigs also. All fish caught on COE brushpiles, but only 1 of the new ones produced any numbers.

Most beautiful day fishing I've had since spring.

Took a vacation day today with my fishin buddy. The weather was fantastic today and the fishin wasn't bad either. The crappie were harder to catch today, we had to fish in the thickest portions of the brush piles to get bit. The tackle companies will be happy, we broke off a bunch of times. Lost quite a few good fish too, we just couldn't get em out of the brush. We ended the day with 42 keepers over 10 inches and a few over 14 inches. Seemed like we threw back dozens of 8 & 9" fish too. We fished brush piles in 15 to 17ft, using jigs and minnows. The wind was ENE and the water temp was 67 degrees around 10:00 in the morning. Sure was a fun vacation day.Name: Kevin 007 (2).jpg

Fished Blue Creek today..had a blast.

Spider rigs with minnows through brush...caught a few on black and chartuese jigs. interestingly enough I didn't get hung in the brush..not complaining!!!

Ended up with 20 keepers..biggest was about 2lbs....only had to throw back 5 small ones....definately a good evening on the water!!

    I fear no fish
