Tim is right on. My cc sets a little higher than some. And wind can be an issue. I'm usually able to fish with an 80 tm. But it won't last more than a few hrs in strong wind. Only thing I can say is the added comfort for the cc is for all of us getting older and taking older fisherman out the cc. Provides them with the room of being able to stand and stretch there legs a bit without standing on the deck while holding on to a hand rail as well. Not sure if that's a concern for you but is a plus.

If a guy was going to Oologah tomorrow, where would be a good starting point. I'm guessing Spencer creek/ Blue creek brush 15-20 FOW? I've got good electronics, just maybe thought someone would point me in the right direction. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I haven't been on Oologah for a few weeks now, but both Spencer and Blue have great piles. Last time out we caught over 100, mostly in the 10-15' range. The water temps have probably come down since then, so they may be where you were thinking. Good luck!
Let us know how you did. Never been to blue creek but hear good things about it.
KingRanch, we've been catching good numbers on piles 8-24ft and also on ledges. Some days it's taking graphing out a handful of areas before finding the right area to fish. Drop shot minnows or Crappie Kickers in Buster Brown, Electric Chicken, and Electric Blue have all been producing on 1/8 ounce head. We've fished Winganon to the dam this week depending on our crazy weather(wind).

Those are some nice fish!
First day on the lake with my newly acquired boat. Caught crappie until I had to leave, and then had dead batteries. Not a load, but had 16 keepers and loads of dinks. Finally found one of the touted brush piles on Blue Creek. Biggest one was 13+". Good day even with the battery problem. Got a new one now.
Thanks to the 3 men who came by and gave me a jump. Very nice folks.
