I'm glad to hear someone is catching them. I can't seem to catch many on Oologah when the water is above normal. I saw Oologah was over 5 feet up and decided to go to Skiatook - that was a mistake, got skunked there.

When you say north end, do you mean north of the bridge? I've never ventured past the bridge, I hear you've got to know where to run.

That looks like a fantastic day on Oologah! I am still working on the blues for the next month or so.
P.S. I can take off on short notice if you need a net man.
    Hey, tell me a story!

Yes, we were north of the bridge. You can run it if you follow the channel. It is a little slower if you are going to the east side creeks.

Nice report Odie. thanks. Are you talking north of the winganon bridge or the Highway 60 bridge up in the river channel?

Not real familiar with Oolagah by boat.

    Thumbs up Oologah 2-18-10

We had another great day on Oologah today. We started out a 9am and had a 2 man limit (74) by 130pm. All fish over 10 inches again and most over 12, with none over 14. We caught over 100 fish, the average size was better today than Friday. We caught them in 25-30 fow around brushpiles. We were using blk/char, cajun cricket, and electric chicken jigs. Fish were 18-22 feet deep.

The news wasn't all good today though. The lake was iced over about 1/4 to 1/2 inch this morning. We idled through the ice for about 3/4 mile with no problems. When we loaded the boat the ice had cut completely through my hamby protector. I can't tell it did any damage to my boat.

Where in the Tulsa/Oologah area would you guys suggest getting my hamby protector fixed or replaced?

    Odie

Here is a picture of 25 of mine, all I could fit on this lid. The rest looked just like them.
