Cpd21 and I went yesterday evening and caught 35 keepers from 5-dark. We were fishing 6-10 inches deep mostly with a jig and cork. WT were from 60-65, it seemed that the only thing to make a difference was the cove had to have good depth to it. EB

Fished with clients Tracy and Bob today. Fish were in 3' to 4' early with WT at 64 degrees. As the temps rose they moved into 6" to 1' of water. Method was single jig dipping wood and bushes. Big fish today was 1.86lb. Had the pleasure meeting coyote today (Kenny) on the water and at the ramp as well. Great guy as all the C.C members I have met......Ranger

Fished this pm from about 5:00 until 7:30. Covered allot of water wading in locations where we have been catching fish in the previous days. Obviously off. Caught one small male. This is around the Bug Tussel area. Measured the water temperature several inches below the surface with what I am sure a calibrated thermometer. The temperature of the water was a straight across 70˚ F. I am going to say with confidence the spawn is coming to an end in this area. Questioned other people and the same. Maybe one small male…..

Fished Eufala today for the first time today. Fished with my 10 year old and his buddy from his soccer team. We fished the creek to the east of Docks bait shop. Took a dirt road to the lake. Found a spot with several guys who were regulars and settled in. Fishing was slow for us. I caught too small ones and the boys zeroed but they had fun just being in nature. There were alot of nice folks there we chatted with. One group camped there last night and woke up fishing. Cant beat that and they had a nice basket of crappie. Nice place. Ready to go back. Soccer game in a few hours or we would still be there. Have a good weekend friends.

Fished all day yesterday without landing a single crappie, but went down to the dock right after sunrise and caught a really nice female using a jig. Weighed 1 pound and 7 oz. Didn't stay long, the bite was slow and I was still tired from Friday. I will try again right before dark. Yesterday it was slow for everyone I spoke with on the lake, just a few caught here and there.

Has anyone fished highway 31 Blue creek area? Too late for spawn in that area? Trying to head that way sometime later this week. TIA.

Fished Saturday and Sunday had 22 keepers Saturday and 60 keepers Sunday. We had flipped a cork both days with very little sucess, the fish have pulled off the bank in the Arrowhead area. We caught most of our fish double dippin rip rap in 6-12 fow a foot off the bottom. pump chart and lime chart was the best colors. WT ranged from 65-70 degrees. EB

We fished with Stink all day Friday, had 4 crappie. We fished all areas where we normally find them shallow. Not finding any fish in numbers,.....I personally think the lake rolled over? Fished Sunday after the storm passed at 9-A culvert area, minnows and jigs only had 3 keepers in 3 hours.

Leland, I fished with lights on the dock here at Arrowhead and caught around 60 before going home at 1AM. Most of them were dinks, but I ended up cleaning 18 the next day. A couple in the neighboring dock caught quite a few too, but only after dark. It made up for Friday and inspired me.........lol. Thanks again for taking me fishing, I enjoyed you and Sissy. You guys are special people in my book.
