Crappie have moved in shallow here on the dock. Catching them along the ramp and they're aggressive.

Second time fishing Eufaula and didn't get skunked this time. Caught 11 in 10" to a 1' of water from the bank cast and retrieve using BG sunrise with a 1/32 chartreuse pony head and a homemade pony tail feather jig I made last summer that I hadn't used until now(chartreuse pony tail head, midnight new age chenille with white hackle feather).

Fishing Hudson lake since I was 14, I'm not used to keeping fish under 10". I caught myself a few times trying to throw back 8" to 9" fish lol.

    Good fishing,

Went out yesterday after the cold front came through started fishing at 10am off by 2pm cleaned 30 all 10" or bigger between 2 of us we threw at least 50 shorts back also. We had only 2 females the day before and 27 males all in 8-10 inches of water right on the bank. The next day we cleaned 6 females same depth of water but we threw back 17 females that we didn't clean so I think the females are starting to make push for the shallows should be a good but crowded weekend on the big muddy good luck and god bless.

I had similar results Wednesday. Two of us fishing. We kept 46 fish with 16 of them being over 14" and the rest only over 12". We thru at least 50 fish back that were only 10"-12". Most of what I caught were females. My phone fell out of my shirt pocket into the live well while I was removing the fish now I am working on making a sign and trying to decide which highway ramp I am going to stand on to get money for a replacement.

The lake is dropping, but rain is forecast all next week. Lakeview Landing Motel and RV Park on HWY 9A is set up great for boats. Ver Nice rooms with mini fridge and microwave and external plug ins for charging batteries . Hwy 9 boat ramps are close, however the lake is down almost 5'.

Nice cabins, owner is real friendly and there's a boat ramp right down the road at oak ridge camp ground. I've been staying here since january for work.

There's a Marina 8 miles south of here call Area 51. The fishing is awesome right now. People are leaving everyday with limits or close to.
