I started out today fishing at Belle Starr Marina, it was slow, so I went to FountainHead marina, didn't pay, just watched until I was convinced it was slow there also.

I headed south and the further south I went the more I saw people catching fish. Seems to me that the warm weather we had last week got em stirred up, but then this cold weather came in and slowed em down quite a bit. Didn't kill the fishing, but last week when it was warmer, I was seeing more fish in baskets than today.

Today I noticed the bite was a little more aggressive.... caught em at 10-12 feet.

Went Sat. 13th with Brian Young to coal creek. Cleaned about 25 crappie. it was windy windy, a little cold and did I say windy. Brian worked his butt off for us. We were catching them in 5 to 6 ft of water about 3 ft deep. If the sun breaks out a few days I bet the fishing is going to get real good. Thanks EB for the trip, hope to do it again soon.

Nice trip Thumper. How deep were they? Were you guys spider-rigging them again this past weekend? They should be getting ready to move a little shallower. It looks like a couple of warm days Thurs. and Fri. then a COLD front. I am going to try and go Thurs. and Fri. If I go I'll post the report.

    Yeah Thumper, what Odie said!!

You can't come in here and lay a picture like that on us and not tell us how you caught them...ie; how deep, what part of the lake, etc.

That's cruel and unusual punishment dude! :D

That's almost as bad as someone catching a mess of fish and not telling you what lake it was on!!!

Hotrod, you brought that up I didn't. LOL!!!! Yea that is teasing when you show a picture like that and leave very little details. I probably won't give you my GPS coordinates but I will tell you area of lake, depth, water temp, and what I caught them on. Only problem has been I haven't got to go much here lately. That is going to change this Thurs. I will post a report good or bad. Good fishing to everyone,

Had to do it, I couldn't resist, I know thats not funny, I will give a complete report 99.9% of the time also. I will say, some of the places that I catch fish I will tell exactly where there at, whats funny is that alot of the places that I hear about on the site are places I fish. Good fishin fellas, it's almost time to bust it all wide open. I'm havin a blast on this site with you all.
